As our organization continues to grow, we're looking for a Cost Estimator who plays a key role behind the scenes — empowering our field colleagues to do what they do best: connecting with customers. In this dynamic role, you'll have the opportunity to influence not only the quality of our proposals, but also decisions within our Business Unit Projects.

You'll be part of a close-knit, down-to-earth team with a rich mix of experience, backgrounds, and ages. Together with our sales colleagues Andries, Lawrence, Leo, Pieter, and Robin, and in collaboration with our engineering team, you'll contribute to projects under the leadership of Director Leon.

What you'll do?

As a Cost Estimator, you are the crucial link between a client's request and a winning proposal. You turn complex technical information, such as specifications, drawings, and client requirements into clear, accurate, and well-founded calculations.

With your analytical mindset, attention to detail, and critical thinking, you help ensure that every proposal we send out is not only technically sound, but also commercially strong.

You'll work at the heart of our project preparation process, where no two days are the same.

  • Translate technical documentation into reliable cost estimates and quotations
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Engineering, and Project Management
  • Ensure deadlines are met and processes run smoothly
  • Advise on pricing, feasibility, and potential risks
  • Identify smarter, better solutions for both our clients and our organization
  • Gather and evaluate supplier and subcontractor pricing
  • Monitor margins and safeguard financial quality
  • Continuously improve our calculation tools and templates

What you bring

You enjoy solving complex challenges and thrive in a role where accuracy and collaboration go hand in hand.

  • An MBO/HBO level of working and thinking
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong technical insight and the ability to read and interpret drawings
  • Fluency in Dutch and English
  • A structured, analytical mindset with an eye for detail
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit
  • Integrity and a proactive attitude

Employment conditions

  • Market-competitive salary: € 3,800 - € 4,800
  • 32-40 hours per week; Monday to Friday
  • Permanent contract in sight after a one-year contract
