Due to our continued growth, we are looking for a talented Design Engineer to strengthen our team.

You'll be part of a close-knit project team alongside Jaap and Fabian, working closely with our Sales and Engineering teams under the leadership of our director Leon.

What you'll do?

As a Design Engineer at DWM, you play a key role in delivering high-quality technical solutions. You ensure that incoming quotations, orders, and design-and-build assignments are executed efficiently, on time, and to the highest standards.

You will independently design and calculate complex products and complete systems, while collaborating with experienced colleagues in engineering and project management when needed.

  • Designing, calculating, and developing complex products and components
  • Evaluating and detailing the technical aspects of quotations and orders
  • Reviewing and validating technical drawings
  • Creating and maintaining bills of materials
  • Collaborating with the Sales team on design solutions
  • Managing and organizing technical drawings and documentation

What you bring

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree (HBO/WO equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role
  • Experience with design/drafting software and ERP systems
  • Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English
  • Attention to detail and a structured way of working
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Employment conditions

  • Market-competitive salary: € 4,483 - € 5,400 (pay scale J or K)
  • Good work-life balance, mainly office hours
  • Permanent contract in sight after a one-year contract

We start with a one-year contract, with the intention of transitioning to a permanent position based on mutual satisfaction.
