Sustainable solution for bank protection

Within the Het Rutbeek recreation area, the first 2.5 kilometers of the shoreline are being sustainably strengthened and prepared for the future. The CombiWand GW560 plastic system was selected for this renovation. The GW560 is exceptionally well-suited for bank protection and earth-retaining applications. This type of sheet piling/shoring provides a durable solution against subsidence and erosion, while contributing to a safe and stable environment for visitors.

Strength, stability, and reliability

The structure consists of plastic wall sections combined with load-bearing piles. These piles provide extra strength and stability to the overall bank construction, ensuring that the load is distributed evenly and the service life is significantly extended.
